What Is Pocket Stories?
Pocket Stories (pocketstories.cc) is a free short fiction site that publishes a new story every day. Each story is inspired by real personal narratives personally curated to read everyday while maintaining a high standard of storytelling. Use our website when you are traveling or have a few minutes to spare.
The goal is simple: surface compelling human experiences in a clean, distraction-free format you can read in a few minutes.
Who Runs This?
Pocket Stories is an independent project run by a solo developer. It's a passion project built to explore the intersection of storytelling, and everyday human experience.
No team, no investors, no editorial board. I write the code, break the code, fix the code, and occasionally question why I started any of this. It's been worth it every time.
